At one point the option menu was greyed out and I couldn’t even access the capture device or settings, the menu has fixed itself after an update buy I still cannot speak. I have to scream intensely through my microphone for any sound to go through, only on teamspeak does it do this and I cannot figure out why
I have a pair of A40s and both play back devices do not allow me to speak. Though when I try a test it does normally detect my sound without any error.

There is no option in the client to turn input volume up or down. You have to setup/raise the volume in your operation system or driver
Control Panel: Click Hardware and Sound > Sound > Recording tab. Right-click the Microphone > Properties > Levels.Use the slider to change the volume or enter a higher number in the text box to increase it
It will open a little window which lets you adjust the Volume of said User.. Right click the Speaker icon in the systray, select Recording devices, select your mic, Properties, Levels, lower the bottom one to 0 and the upper one as needed.
[Fix] Teamspeak Mic Not Working Windows 10 (100% Working) [4]
Teamspeak brings many advantages over Discord to the table. The former consumes way less memory than the latter while retaining the same functionality and features
If that’s the case with you, check for the key for push-to-talk settings or set the slider of your capture profile accordingly. Restart the software and check if your PC has the right input audio settings or not.
You’re ready to go to spend some quality time with the boys and when you plug your headphone, you realize that your TeamSpeak mic not working. The new headphone mic works just fine in other applications but it won’t work in TeamSpeak
Volume Control [5]
This plugin is a remake of the original VolumeControl by Teamspeak, which only gets API updates and is no longer under development. It reduces the volume of other applications when someone (including yourself) in your channel is speaking.
The common problems with the original plugin were crashes and the permanent lowering of volume for some applications, especially games with a launcher like League of Legends.. Obviously I can’t guarantee a non-crash experience through perfect bug free code, but every feedback is appreciated
This is important! If you are using the Windows Sound Mixer to control the volume on a “per application” basis this will obviously screw you, because it will reset everything to the ‘master volume’ and you should consider not using this plugin!. My mic is always auto adjusting itself even though all the options are turned off. [6]
My mic is always auto adjusting itself even though all the options are turned off.. The problem I have when using TeamViewer is always, that my mic is adjusting its volume on its own
I turned off and unticked all the settings that could be taking control of my mic/audio ports but the issue consists ONLY when using TeamViewer. I also turned the automatic function off and don’t even use the mic on TeamViewer since we talk over another platform already
Huge thanks still to the software! Made uni collaborating much easier.. I assume that you have correctly configured the MUTE system in TeamViewer.
